Each signed-out pathology report consumes one report token. You purchase token bundles upfront at tiered rates — the more you buy, the lower the cost per report. Tokens are valid for 18 months from purchase and never expire before that window.
PathLab supports cloud SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid deployments. For cloud deployments, all data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Tenant data is fully isolated at both database and application layers — no cross-tenant access is possible.
Most labs are live within 2–4 weeks. Our implementation team handles data migration, user onboarding, and integration with your existing EHR/EMR. Complex multi-site deployments may take 6–8 weeks.
PathLab is designed to support HIPAA, GDPR, POPIA, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements. All reports are signed with X.509 PKI certificates and logged in a tamper-evident audit trail. We recommend consulting your compliance officer for jurisdiction-specific obligations.
Yes. PathLab provides a full HL7 FHIR R4 REST API for bidirectional EHR/EMR integration. We also support SNOMED CT and LOINC code lookups out of the box. Custom integration support is available on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
You will receive email alerts at 20% and 5% remaining balance. You can top up at any time from the admin dashboard. Existing cases and reports remain fully accessible — only new sign-outs are paused until you top up.
